I had the chemical level checked at both Paddock and Shasta Pools to see the differences.
Paddock and Shasta only agreed on the ph level.
Paddock / Shasta
Total chlorine – 1.6 / 3.5
Free chlorine – 1.4 / 3.5
pH – 8.2 / 8.2
Total Alkalinity – 169 / 110
Adj Alkalinity – 144 / 96
Salt Level – 4000 / 3500
I added about 3 pints of acid today.

I rebuilt the electrical panel. Most of the lights could not be controlled manually and the switches for the water feature pumps were all over the place. I moved all the confusing mess of switches into their own box. Now they can be found without a map. I added several switches for the lights and color wheels so they could be switched manually if the remote is lost or dies.
The pump for the wok pots still shuts off and on whenever it wants. Either the pump is overheating or the switch is failing.

The pump for the wok pots cuts on and off when it wants to. I will have to check and see if it is electrical or a pump failure.
Stucco is releasing from the waterfall again. I will have to find a contractor to replace it soon.
Paddock was out this week and checked the chemical balance. I found their card at the front door.

Todays chemical level shows that the total alkalinity level was low. Had to add 25 lbs. of baking soda or Alkali Up and 5 lbs. of acid for the ph level. Also needs another 6 lbs. of Pad Chem.

PCC2000 still not clearing up the dirt on the bottom.
Over the weekend found a couple of the cleaning jets had plugged. I will have to try and remove them and blow out the pipes in the cleaning system.
I will try a steel brush on the perma dirt that is our interior finish.
I turned the chlorine generator almost all the way up, still no chlorine being generated. Had to add 3lbs of pad chem and 4lbs of pad con to bring the levels back up.

The fiber optic people came out and glued the fiber optics back into the waterfall.
I changed out the rock in the wok pots from river rock to a smaller beach pebble. It now matches the look of the pots in Paddocks showroom wok pots. I cut down the pipes in the wok pots below the water line. It now flows more water while keeping a bubbling type effect.
